It may be creating a layer that the In Printer processing does not recognize. Change Process Type to In Computer from In Printer in Windows driver as described in Q1.5.
If it does not fix the problem, lower the resolution.

[ How to lower the resolution]

1. In Windows XP, click Start>Printers and Faxes

2. Right click the icon of your printer and choose Printing Preferences from pull down menu. 

3. Click Option tab, and then click Modify. 

4. Choose lower resolution in WinDrv Resolution and click OK.

5. Click OK on Option tab.
