Seiko I Infotech Started Shipping The New "IX" HAPs Free Ink

Japan, October 7th, 2011- Seiko I Infotech Inc. (SIIT) announced that it has started shipping the new IX low odor and HAPs-Free* inks for “ColorPainter W” series wide format printers.

This revolutionary new “green” ink is unique in several ways over traditional solvent and eco-solvent inks. Better for both the environment and for employee health, Seiko I Infotech has eliminated HAPs from both the ink chemicals and the pigments. It is also formulated for low odor printing. The residual odor of the printed image evaporates quickly, which expands the target applications for the “ColorPainter W” series printers - from outdoor to the odor sensitive indoor markets such as signage in grocery shops and small space graphics in trains and elevators.

The IX inks are supplied in ink bag type cartridge designed for  SIIT’s innovative re-loadable cartridge, which reduces environmental waste such as hard plastic case.
